One month after stunning the fashion world with her resignation as Editor In Chief at Vogue Paris, Roitfield officially has a new successor. Immediately with the shock came the speculation, although the choice was always clear. No one would be “more commercial,” than Emmanuelle Alt as stated by Xavier Romatet, the president of Condé Nast France. “Vogue Paris is doing very well, and I wanted to entrust the editorship to someone who can provide continuity while bringing new life.”
Although lead by Roitfield, Alt was always the creative mind behind the controversial and cutting edge spreads. The new Editor In Chief takes to the new position February 1st.
