With the recent inauguration of the infamous $12 million dollar Christmas tree, the Emirates Palace made quite the stir. And as the saying goes, any publicity is good publicity, which is exactly the case for the this Abu Dhabi retreat. with the interior being incrusted with gold and gems it’s no wonder that it was the most expensive hotel ever built only to be surpassed by the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Recently being featured in Sex & The City 2 film (although filming actually never took place there) the hotel made heads turn with intrigue.
