The other day while strolling through Galerie Elysee, I couldn’t help thinking about Karl Lagerfeld. It wasn’t necessarily because his clothes was hanging on the racks, but rather because of the piercing creep-like glances the hot pink-haired mannequins gave. Staring at the figures was like watching a live second from Karl’s short film “Window World.” It was chic yet creepy, intriguing yet nerving, it was classic Lagerfeld, an always contradicting paradox that works.
