Whether you love her or simply love to hate her, there’s no question that Britney is always on people’s mouths. Believe it or not, this time it’s literally for a spectacular reason. Last month in Sacramento she kicked off her Femme Fatale Tour and I was so lucky to see her front row on her next stop in San Jose. I’ll be honest I wasn’t her biggest fan in the past, but after watching her live, @BritneySpears, you are officially +1. Theatrical is un an understatement, with LED encrusted costumes, visits varying from Egypt to Japan, even to an oversized rock guitar, this show is the best I’ve ever seen, and mind you, I’ve seen the likes of Madonna, Lady Gaga, The Spice Girls, and even Celine Dion. Britney, you are undoubtedly the original showgirl. If you’re a recent fan or a follower from the past, her repertoire is sure to more than satisfy. Her setlist ranges from “Toxic,” to her latest hits “Hold It Against Me,” and “Till the World Ends,” to her original hit “Baby… One More Time.” If you were one of the million that saw her disastrous performance of “Gimme More,” at the VMA’s, she has set out not only to redeem the song but redeem herself. If you haven’t been lucky enough to see her in the first half of her North American Tour, then be sure to check her out before she departs to Europe where she is set to perform in Russia, France, and the U.K. amongst many other nations. For the first time after concluding her European stroll, she will be bringing her tour to South America as well as Mexico, Brazil, you were asking, and she has heard. Again whether a fan or not, this is a show not to miss, a treat which will leave you more than pumped and blown away.
It’s no secret that the Olsen Twins have an eclectic style of geek meets vintage with a touch of panache, however their best kept asset was how commercial they could make their look. In a recent reveal of their Spring lookbook for their line, Elizabeth and James, we realized how young and flirty they could be while holding their classic essence. The looks are smart, polished, and even at times a bit romantic. Although mostly hinted for the young fashion savvy audience, some looks are age appropriate and truly a treat for all. Below are a few of the looks including their newly launched eyewear line.

If Delhi was a diverse palette to choose from, then Jaipur was the artist who painted a masterpiece. Known as the “pink city,” this capital of Rajasthan was so much more than sandstone-colored walls. The cars, the sarees, the spices, even the sky were seasoned with color. It’s no surprise that Jaipur was the first planned city of India, a look at the streets and culture and you see that living in organized tradition was their mission. As I set forth to discover the city I felt a sense of warmth, a feeling of fragility, and a rush of intrigue. It was as if I had landed in an Indian fable in which I was the protagonist. The landscapes were surreal, the locals were fraternal, the city was simply luringly magical. Here’s a few photos that managed to caption my first impressions from the “Land of Kings.”

What began as a stroll through the capital’s newer side resulted in a detour through the seedingly intriguing and adventurous streets of Chandni Chowk. Although the center is mostly modern and clearly westernized while the Old City is more traditional and what at times has been the cliché image of India, one thing both areas had in common was the illustrious palete which the entire nation seems to have. From the contrast of the dirt and the skies to the small shops compacted with chilli-filled burlap sacks, Delhi alike the rest of the nation is a living metaphor that life is meant to be festive and enjoyed. So needless to say, if life is a painting, then India is a palette with much to choose from.
